7.2.8 Environmental Aspects
We will continuously evaluate the environmental aspects of our products and services. The goal will be to
develop and provide products and service that have no undue environmental impact and are safe in their
intended use, efficient in their consumption of energy and natural resources and can be recycled, reused or
disposed of safely.
7.2.9 Continuous Improvement
Sama Global believes that effective HSE management is good business. As in other areas of our business,
Sama Global is committed to continuous improvement of HSE management practices. We believe that
adherence to these ten principles will assist us in achieving our objectives of HSE excellence. Each year we
will identify specific goals against which we will measure our progress toward HSE excellence.

7.2.10 Monitor, Audit and Review
Effective management requires on‐going assessment and review to determine whether the health, safety,
and environmental policy are being appropriately implemented. Accordingly, an on‐going assessment, self‐
evaluation and audit program shall be implemented and maintained for operations throughout Sama
Global. The objective of this program is to provide management and the Board of Directors with verification
that operations are in compliance with laws, regulations, Company policies and standards and to facilitate
the spread of best practices throughout Sama Global's operations.
8. SAFETY ORGANIZATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HSE and loss prevention are line management responsibilities and the condition of employment for all
persons assigned to the project. Each employee shall be familiar with their role and those of their
subordinates and aggressively ensure compliance with these requirements. These are minimum
requirements and may not reflect all legal and Sama Global requirements for safety.
8.1 Roles/Responsibilities
Persons with specific HSE responsibilities are the HSE manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager,
Construction Manager, Resident Construction Manager, Project HSE Representative, First Aid Technician,
Construction Superintendent, Craft Supervisor, General Staff, Foremen, Employee, and the Safety
Committee. Everyone on site is expected to comply with all project HSE requirements and to ensure their
subordinates comply also.
8.2 HSE Manager
HSE Manager to ensure the following is performed:
Responsible for the administration of the HSE program which requires a thorough knowledge of
federal and state safety, fire and health regulations. A working knowledge of hazardous gases and
chemicals and of the appropriate detection devices is also required. The HSE Manager is qualified,
by education and experience, to recommend and develop safe work procedures for situations that
may not be covered by federal or state regulations.
Provides safety information and guidance to Operations Manager on proper HSE procedures,
current and potential hazards and employee training requirements. Revises the Site Safety & Health
Plan to incorporate new procedures and those implemented to address new problem areas
Reviews all safety programs for compliance with Company policies and client's safety instructions.
Constructability reviews.
Construction Hazard analyses.
